Papillon Sketch

Hi Everyone! Here is my take on the latest (CAS)e this sketch challenge. I chose colors from the SU! Color Coach. Just let it do all the work for you. And Crumb Cake can be paired with anything! I used three new-to-me stamp sets for this card:Express Yourself, BackgroundBuilders and Papillon Potpourri.

I like how this card turned out. I’m thinking of making more with different color combinations and sentiments to give as a gift set. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Thanks So Much

I’m on Thanksgiving break (a few more days!) so I’ve had time to get crafty! This is my entry for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.

I like the way it turned out. I love using Stampin Up paper so there’s no thinking about color coordination! What do you think?

Hello!

Hi Everyone! I just signed up for the Summer Card Class 2 and thought it would be a great time to start a blog. So, HELLO (waving wildly)! I don’t know a ton about blogs so it might look a bit bare around here for a bit. But you’re here to see crafty creations anyway, right? So let’s get right to it! The card class this week had offered a color scheme and three card sketches for inspiration. I used the color scheme with this first card.

Here’s my first confession on the blog- I love embossing, particularly in white! The set that I used (SU! Beyond Plaid) is an older set that isn’t in the catalog anymore. I bought it from a friend the other day. It was egging to be embossed! One of my square Nestabilities cuts the perfect size squares to go across the card! Then I embossed the ‘hello’ from the new set Four You, made it into a banner, a few brads and done!

I love how this card turned out. I have plans to use the other three patterns in Beyond Plaid and the other three sentiments from Four You to make a set of cards.

Thanks for stopping by today!
